From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction and third installment in the Billy Battles series, which follows the title character Billy and his second wife, Katharina, as he goes undercover in the early Twentieth Century to investigation Mexican and German revolutionaries and spies. It seems like it might be worth a second look. Well done.

From the summary & reviews from buyers/ readers, I get the disticnt feeling that this trilogy should be made into a movie. Upon acquiring this 3rd, I will need to read the previous 2 parts/ books to give a full honest review

For lovers of American history, this one is an ideal read. This is even more important of for readers of the Finding Billy Battle books as it wraps up the trilogy.

Your review makes me excited to read this book! It sounds like the sort of book that's right up my alley. I'm sure it can be read as a standalone, but I might still read the previous books in the series to fully enjoy the third installment.

This seems like a lovely read. I would also very much like to read the first two books in the series just to get the full historical bearing. Great review.

The reviewer presents Volunteer Review: The Lost Years of Billy Battles by Ronald E. Yates in a light and entertaining way! All the strong points of the story have been mentioned in the review! The fact that the reviewer gained insight into some cultures depicted in this book is elating! Nice to learn that the book is a historical masterpiece!

What a review! Obviously you enjoyed every minute spent reviewing the book. I have not read any of the books in this series but I hunt them down to find out exactly why you hold Mr. Yates so highly.
Congratulations on making the BOTD too.

It seems that Billy led an extremely adventurous life. I don't usually read memoirs but this one is quite interesting. I hope everything worked out for him.

From the title the book sounded like a children's book but it turned out to be of my favourite genre. Nice review.

Sounds like a gushing review of the book which is almost too perfect. I haven't read the first two books of the series so I will have to pass up on this one but the setting and story is compelling. Thank you for the review.
