I could not agree more. When reading this book, I thought I would have been able to compare to my life I am living now. There were some parts where I did and some parts I didn't. Overall I would 100% recommend this book, especially the great detailed review, it is great!

Me personally I really enjoyed this book. There were a few good twists in there. Vincent's world building is amazing. The descriptions in the book of the atmosphere and scenes are some of the best I've ever read. Also um how can I not like it there's an ELF WITH A SHOTGUN. That's cool asf. I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars. The re-read value of this book is very high.

Backstory of why I read this book.
I remember when this book was first published back in 2016. My English teacher picked the book up and read it to our class. Then at the beginning of this year my Mythology/English teacher. Said we we're going to start individual reading time. She showed us the available books and some new one's she got. She had it so I asked if I could borrow it.

I'm new to onlinebookclub and your review is the first one I saw and...woah! You sure know how to sell a book. This sounds amazing, it's giving me Tolkien-meets-Gaiman vibes. I would love to see how this would work as a graphic novel. Anyway, can't wait to check it out, thank you!

In Immortals’ Requiem by Vincent Bobbe, there are creatures that only live in our nightmares. The bloodthirsty, vicious creatures that lurk in the recesses of our imaginations. An immortal beast thought vanquished two thousand years previously has returned, emerging from the ground, and its sole aim is to fulfill its destiny. When there is a spate of grisly murders on the streets of modern-day England, it throws people into turmoil. No one is clear who or what is carrying out these heinous attacks. A cruel and sadistic shapeshifter named Cu Roi is determined in his quest. He must be stopped before he destroys civilization. Cam and Grimnir are the only hope, but will they be willing to sacrifice their lives in order to destroy this powerful force?
Vincent Bobbe has managed to create such a rich story filled with myth and legend, shapeshifting, and folklore. All the characters have been meticulously crafted with detail, especially Cam and Grimnir who are original and authentic. The colourful and detailed descriptions to set a scene are some of the best I have ever read. Vincent Bobbe has also captured the art of building suspense and terror in the reader. The story flowed perfectly from start to finish and included every element for a perfect fantasy novel. The last chapter was absolutely flawless and the Epilogue was a great addition to the story. If you enjoy the supernatural, fantasy or myth, then this is a must-read. This is my first, but not my last fantasy novel, thanks to the author.

This is my first time on online book club and this book just amazed me. I wasn't aware of this genre and how the mythical characters make it seem so interesting. I was surprised because i don't read books like this type of genres. This book should be read more and should be known.

I've never found any fantasy novel up to the mark. They always somehow end up being repetitive and boring. But your review is so amazing that I am genuinely interested in reading this book. I hope to enjoy it as much as you did.
