Amazing. I love that verse of Deuteronomy. That book is particularly powerful.Arimart99 wrote: ↑03 May 2020, 16:13 A verse I really like is this one:
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
A very popular one is also Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Particular Bible verses to help you (from the book)?

That's very nice, my friend. I loved this quote, as well. "If God Is for Us, Who Can Be Against Us?Stephanie Elizabeth wrote: ↑01 May 2020, 18:50 I particularly connected with the following verse:
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
I find this to be very uplifting; when we are feeling lost in life , it is comforting knowing that we are not alone.
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.
When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!

For me, that's the deciding point of whether or not going ahead with reading a book of such genre is beneficial.

Same, I don't enjoy long and lengthy and wordy prayers. You don't have to make yourself seem better than you are. God knows who you are, you can talk to him just as you are.Twylla wrote: ↑06 May 2020, 12:35 I have always appreciated that Jesus didn't waste time praying elaborate prayers. He saw the need and solved the problem. An example is when he prayed for Lazarus to come out of the grave. He said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this on account of the people standing around, that they may believe that you sent me." When he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out." The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth.
It comforts me to know that I can talk to God the way I would talk to a friend and he will meet me where I am.

This just reminds me of the miracles He gives us on a daily basis: that every day is a gift from God. He will always take care of us. The verse helps me to remember that God the Allmighty is in control of my life.

Have any of you found a verse that has helped you during a crisis, or possibly found inspiration from the verses provided to use in your life?
I guess this passage sums up everything. There's not much more that you can add to this.
