A children's book is usually very sensitive, and authors need to deliver information that is correct, fair and humane. Anyway congratulations to the author on making BOTD. Thanks for your review.

That a line which excused people for abandoning their pets is in this book, is unforgivable. Overall, it's a good story with good lessons, I can recommend it for young readers. Congrats on book of the day.

I think the book still gives some cogent point rather than the well acclaimed pets drop off. Children's book always bring some excitement, and I'm sure this tried based on the review. Will surely try to see the colourful pictures in the book. Congrats on BOTD

As far as that line about abandoning the animal, I would have to read it myself to make sure that it isn’t just poorly worded or being misinterpreted here. I’m a huge animal lover, and I wouldn’t want to encourage any harm coming them. I do approve of the rest of the messages, though, so I think it’s worth the read otherwise. Thank you for the helpful review.

This children's book aims to instill the idea of kindness, compassion, and developing a sense of belonging in young minds. I like the message the author has tried to convey and the fact that there is a parent and educator guide at the end of the book. And the illustrations do look lovely. Thank you for the detailed review.

This is a good review. Well the comment made by the author about abandoning pets may not be totally wrong and may also not be totally right. People abandon their pets for different reasons especially in complicated situations. I like the book as it is a good educational book for kids and also has a lesson on how we should treat refugees.

Wow. The author really went too far. Children would pick up on this easily and interpret it wrongly. That sentence should either be removed or restructured for the sake of the author's image and children that will end up reading this book.

I like how the book educates children on how to treat refugees. What I didn't like is that the author says in the book that it is okay to abandon your pets if your not able to take care of them. Even though I don't agree with what the author says about abandoning a pet, I think that this is an interesting book to read. Thank you for the review, I enjoyed reading it.

The book appears to present children issues with analogy to pet animals. The author must be applauded for the effort on this important subject of children and their upbringing and helping children with their issues. Congratulations on BOTD.
