Yes, that is one of the great parts of this book, with the different backgrounds of the girls every reader probably finds someone to relate to.

Yes, that is true, the author did a good job. I especially liked the fact, that all women had different background and age, but it didn't stop them from being such good friends.

It's great that the characters, despite coming from different backgrounds, could form a bond through fly-fishing. There is a lot to be learned from this book.

That is a good point. That is pretty much how it works in real life, too. Sadly, in real life experiences (especially the bad ones) can sometimes also break relationships.
