I say this to anyone who cares to listen that the bulk of saving ourselves lies with us. We must come to a place of complete self awareness. Know when you're doing it wrong, take responsibility and retrace. A lot of things that we take to God in prayers can be conquered through thorough and honest self assessment. This book is a treasure and I'll look out for it. Beautiful review.

I like the concept of beating the enemy within you but given that it is religious I don't think it will help me.

Can any enemy be greater than the one within and can it be defeated, would like to read a book that talk on those.
