Actually I think that your irritation of the protagonist being deluded by her attraction to a lying man adds to the fact that despite her being a strong female warrior, mistakes and flaws still befall her

Thank you for your review. I have to agree: a 4 star book. I started to sample the free book of the day, and didn't get back to the review before finishing it! Definitely a page-turner!

Your description of the plot has made me want to pick up the book and start reading. Really excited to start it. I wonder if Aerietta is given the qualities of being easily tricked so she's a more rounded character. Also, perhaps she can kill but hesitates to do it if she doesn't have to. I haven't read the book yet but I agree it seems odd that the description says she is a trained assassin but she doesn't manage to kill anyone. Thanks for the review!

King Cress tried to leave the kingdom to his daughter Aerietta but something inside of her just felt cold. I would want to see me and women rule the kingdom together. Very well done on the review

Sometimes if enemy was killed the problem was over. But that is true ?
Usually the enemy want to vengeance.
If world war 3 happen the damage in the earth is can not imagine how the earth like after that happen. Every country try to defend , so that will use all of weapon they have and how terrible it is if happen.

Cool book, from the review , a kingdom is overthrown and its about power struggle and assassination stuff. Sounds great , when I'm done reading it, I'll love to confirm its superbness. The review summarises the story nicely.

Maybe you can look at it another way. She's a renowned assassin, but is ultimately a bad lover. Creates a stark contrast that reveal a character flaw. Though, I can see how that may be frustrating to some.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting fantasy story following a young woman who was disowned by her father, the king, because of a tattoo/birthmark of a rose that signifies misfortune and was trained to be a cold hearted assassin. It might be worth another look. Well done.

The plot is given to turns and twists all throughout, there just could not be other avenues of not being thrilled. We will surely appreciate being surprised now and then. This is surely tailored to my taste, that I can tell even just from the review. Thanks for sharing.

I do agree with what you say. The protagonist seems to be strangely contrasted. You would think that an assassin would have a strong instinct. But I feel that as this is a series, there is a lot of room for the protagonist to grow. Definitely makes me want to read the book if there is growth shown in the story. A wonderful review!!
