Bh: Not really. It's called Pan Bimbo because she spreads for just about everybody.

Bh: Yep. She's had torrid affairs with Peanut Butter, Cream Cheese, Marmalaid(This isn't a typo, Bh is a real talent),
Chopped Liver, Gary(again, no typo)Poupon, Ray Goo, and just about every dressing Paul Newman ever whipped up.

din3: Did they ever catch The Bread Thief?
Bh: Sure did.
din3: How'd they do it?
Bh: Well, one night he stole some bran rolls, which was unwise.
din3: Unwise?
Bh: Yea. They caught him about 1/2 mile away in the Online Book Club Pub.
din3: What was he doing in there?
Bh: Pinching a loaf, what else?

Picking up a book (usually for me anyway second hand and paperback) and gettign it home, starting to read it then working out there were more before it in the series.

It maybe just me but I like reading a book series in order.

Ignorant people who park on footpaths and force walkers and baby buggies & elderly people to take risks. Yesterday while out for a walk I witnessed an elderly woman nearly being knocked down because she was forced to walk on to the main road to get around a big 4+4 parked on a footpath & completly blocking the route for pedestrians. I was tempted to let the air out of the tires but instead I rang the local boys in blue & passing on the reg. These people should be fined for stupidity if nothing else .... can they not deduce from the word footpath what it's intended for. I was cross

I'd like to ban people that leave their gum everywhere. Just picked up my classic Wuthering Heights and it stuck to the table, big goop of gum ruining my lovely book. And all i could think of was "why would this happen to my favorite book! Why not to Russel Brands Bookey Wookey if it HAD to happen!? Why the classic?" Ugh. Stupid gum chewing people...

Id like to ban that brown dog who comes in my yard and eats my dog's food. My dog is too dumb to chase him away. I can barely afford to feed my dogs, let alone the neighbors. I guess I shouldnt blame the dog, some of them around here dont get a lot to eat, except for maybe an occasional cat or rabbit.

Rude people wind me up the most, you know, the type who wont even smile or leave a door open for you. Theres a girl in my local store who has a miserable expression on her face almost every time Im in there, when you get to her and pay for your items she just snatches the money off you, throws your items in the bag and pouts the whole time, why the hell do people who are hired to do custmoer service behave like such wankers? I know dealing with the public can be trying but if you are gone to the stage where you hate the customers, time to move on.

That used to annoy me in ALDI or Dunnes when they wouldn't talk to you & just acted like robots .... so what I do now is I always say thank you & use their name & then I wish them a happpy weekend. Amazing how they wake up and even smile & I've even ended up having chats about their shift hours and their weekend plans and their country of origin and about the fact that ALDI are now employing as many Irish as Eastern Europeans, at least in my local branch anyway.

I agree. I hate people like that. For as long as i worked with the public i never did that. Even if i'm a customer i dont do that. And everytime i've trained someone i trained them to do the same. Smile, say hello, talk. It's not that bloody hard. Even on a bad day, its not like the worlds going to end if you smile at your customer. Most likely, it will make your day better. Drives me nuts. I smile at everyone (and i mean EVERYONE), always say hello, and help people if they need it. One day a lady dropped her bag in the parking lot of a local grocer and this kid that worked there just looked at her, though he was only like three feet from her, and walked away. I was on the other side of the drive through and walked over to help her. She was so stunned by it that she kept looking at me weird like she was expecting me to mug her or something. I dont blame her, with the way the world is now i would have been suspicious too, but you know its pretty bad when you cant trust people that are helping you out. Made me angry that the kid that actually worked there walked away as fast as he could though. Totally rude. I vote to ban the rude people in room 101 with you.
And i have to agree with Bighuey as well. I know a few bosses that would be perfect for banning...

@Fran, I have learned not to even bother at Aldi or Lidl, its ingrained in the staff to 'get em in, get em out' absolutely no small talk. It unnerves the old ladies who are used to the Irish banter! It still irks me to see the rudeness, costs nothing to be nice. Personally I wouldnt want the bad karma.

Laci, well done on being a decent citizen, you were spot on to help that woman, we need more like you in the world. And i admire your work ethic and customer standards.

I agree with all the above. Ive found that with most of these yo-yos, if you talk decent to them and treat them like they are human they will come around and be half way bearable. Maybe they had a bad day. found out their spouse is cheating on them, their daughter ran off with a gambling man or something like that. Im pretty mellow, I get along with most people, but Im sure there have been days that people have found me to be a real dink too. We need to take a deep breath and stand back and take a good look at ourselves and most of will realize that we can be ass-wipes, too.
