Using a narrator to start is unique since it captures the reader's interest.

There are some elements of fantasy, although I agree it is not solely fantasy. Likewise, the way that the author wrote the novel makes it quite engaging.

I tend to agree. At first I thought it was kind of weird, but the way you put it has made me change my mind and look at the book in a whole new light. I am only about half way through, but I am loving the adventure of it.

The writer loves to write fantasy with touch of realism. But the writer managed to focus on main point of the story. Narative style on the beginning attracts reader's attention compelling reader to complete book thoroughly.

I believe the author was creative. Although the writing style was somewhat funny, but it's a book to read.

I believe so too. It's almost like the author had hypnotized me from the beginning of the book. It was totally magnificent.

You are actually on point. Grant could've chosen so many better worldlines but he chose the story in this book. Kudos on your observation!

The writing style was exceptional. I love novels which are able to combine a thriller effect and yet still be able to execute their genres perfectly
