A very nice review, I love to read mystery books that have a bit of humor in it. But then, from your review, there was a high level of profanity and I don't like books with profane words. Nevertheless, this is a very nice review
Thank you

This book sounds like an interesting crime thriller. Seeing the death of a friend must be traumatic. It sounds like the characters are well developed and the plot well thought out. Sounds like a good one to read.

Captivating plot, but I will have to pass due to the excessive profanity.

I like the sarcastic and self-deprecating character, but I really don't like the profanity. A little cursing can be used as emphasis, but a lot comes off as unnecessarily vulgar.

I love suspense stories and this really excites me. Also the fact that the woman character is strong makes the book more interesting. Great review!

This thriller seems to be a fantastic read. However, excessive profanity is enough to discourage me from reading it. Thank you for the insightful review.
