This is the seventh standalone children’s book in the Diary of a Snoopy Cat series. Inca, the Siberian Kitty, is the head of a detective agency in London. The agency has been involved in solving crucial detective mysteries. Inca and her siblings decided to visit Sri Lanka. They spend the holiday on a tiny island lying in the middle of India and Southeast Asia. Sri Lanka boasted more than two thousand years of culture.

Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F Kristi is a children's book with an incredible storyline and captivating from its beginning until the end. While on vacation in Sri Lanka, something fascinating happens. An antique sword has been stolen from the local museum. Will Inca and her company of detective be able to solve this mystery? You will find out when you read this book.

The author's message was straightforward, and I found her writing to be conversational. The writer did an excellent job in the structure and arrangement of this book. The storyline was well-crafted. The sequence of events was also admirable and lived up to expectations. It has the right mixtures of humor and suspense.

One of the many appealing aspects of this story is how the writer described the sea turtles. They appeared around ten in the morning to help themselves to the seagrass. It made the book enjoyable to read. The tale is beautifully illustrated. Kristi came up with a story that has a unique and well-organized plot.

There was nothing that I did not like about the book. The book was impressively well-written, and the animal characters were captivating. I liked how she built her narratives around Inca. The book is lively and warm. The beautiful drawings added a nice touch to each page. I also like the book and the concept.

Overall, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I gave it four stars because the animal characters are well-developed. I got to know all of the animal characters. I was also impressed with the way the author portrayed Terrance to be a dog with a medium length golden coat. The editing of the story was professionally done, as I found no errors while reading. I liked that it was entertaining. This book is suitable for children ages 7 to 12. Children will have fun reading this book. The language is relatively simple so that children can understand.

I envy these animals: They travel more than I do!

I also enjoyed my virtual trip to Sri Lanka with Inca and the gang. I'm looking forward to more adventures with them.
