Wow, you've made the book seem excitng considering it's length. Its nice to know that you found it to be fascinating. The story of Leotychides provides an incite into the kingdom of Sparta and seems to be quite interesting. Having to see Leotychides grow from an infant to being a general could have been an exciting adventure. Nice review and my interest is certainly aroused.

I liked Leotychides too, but he was too reluctant to take the initiative. However, Antalkidas was the wisest. I wish Leotychides had listened to him.
