It's sad that the book starts off so strongly and then fizzles to nothing. I am going to pass since I would have a problem finishing a story steuctured like this.

This seemed like an interesting story at the start. But sorry to see that the plot lost its way. Great review!

I would actually like reading about a story before industrialization. This one about a candle maker seems interesting. Nice review.

It is sad that the book's exposition stage of the plot appeared later after the climax. Such a mix-up is often discouraging, especially if the story was initially interesting. Thank you for your honest review., 💫
