"The story succinctly examines the nature of infidelity, the mutative qualities of love, and philanderer's guilt." Sounds like this could be interesting, especially to those having trouble in there marriage. Congratulations on BOTD.

It sounds like a great book describing the dissolution of a marriage. A pity that a lot of these couplings go awry when there is, primarily, a lack of communication and understanding between them, which harbours feelings of loneliness and regret. Thank you for the well-written review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

While not similar in all facets, your review of this novel brings to mind the Akira Kurosawa film Rashomon, based on the short story "藪の中 (In a Grove)" by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. It is interesting to get the opportunity to view a chain of events from multiple perspectives, or of what justice means to each character. Depending on how everything plays out in such a story, it could prove to be an interesting tale. Thank you for your summary and your input on the book.

The opening of the book catches the reader's attention by giving some blunt questions about some deep societal issues. The style of writing is witty yet simple. The firat few lines create curiosity in the reader's mind to know about the characters in depth. It urges you to know about the main characters' bittersweet experiences by putting yourselves in their shoes. It is interestingly flowing story of an unhappy couple.

The book seems bold and strong in dealing with the problems. It would be interesting to know how the three characters develop. Thanks for the review!

A story about an unhappy marriage gone wrong is definitely a nice one. I like it that the book is well written and mainly concentrate on the theme of justice. However, I'm not a fan of this genre. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD.

I love character-driven stories, and this book seems to be one. It's like you want to get inside the minds of these three main characters and understand their different points of view.

It's always good to learn the two sides of every story. Lack of justice for a wrong done often leads people into taking drastic actions. This book seems quite interesting. Great review!

It really evokes time. A cheating wife and a husband married to his work. It's certainly an interesting book.

Nice review. I enjoyed the sample. This is an interesting way of showing the different sides of the justice system.
