I always believe in the middle ground, the two techniques (holistic methods and modern day medicine) can be combined for better results. Natural remedies and yoga will definitely help heal the spiritual side of things, while medication does it’s work on healing the body.

I think it depends on the amount or type of stress/anxiety the person is dealing with. But also, the person itself and if he or she or they believe in the fact that what they're doing would help because the mind does play an important factor
Also, I don't know if this was mentioned in the book, but other "natural" options, say infusions, are not necessarily beneficial just because they are natural, and can even be harmful so we have to be very careful with what we put in our bodies

I believe natural treatments cannot wholly replace conventional ones. But I think the steps should be that someone first explores natural remedies before proceeding to conventional treatments since they generally tend to have lesser side effects. I'm into integrative therapies.

I think that a huge part of depression and anxiety can be relieved through natural resources. But, for some people medication is necessary, so I guess it really depends on your circumstances. Your doctor, your therapist, your surroundings, you income, etc.

I agree with the author of the book that natural methods are effective in dealing with stress and anxiety. The reason for my support is that the root cause of any kind of stress is mostly something that can be worked out. So, instead of going medications, change in attitude/ environment or circumstances, should be opted.

I do not think any one method can totally substitute the other

I think the best way is to embrace a little bit of both, sothat the natural methods become a complement to western medication, and vice versa

I think it is important to take into consideration the degree of the stress, anxiety, and the individual. Personally, I feel the traditional medication works better for me . However, I know lot of people that appreciate the natural option like yoga while dealing with stress.

I don't think natural options can substitute medicaments totally. However,in mild cases stress and anxiety can be relieved by the practise of yoga and meditation. In more serious cases medicaments are necessary to alleviate the suffering caused by them. But as the author sounded caution, these medicaments can also become addictive,so its best used under strict expert supervision. Lastly making changes in our lifestyle and by adopting a healthy positive attitude towards the world, stress and anxiety related problems can be controlled without medication to an extent.

I think that depending on the situation, a lot of the times we have the strength within our bodies to naturally rid toxins, and ailments. In my opinion the most the first step is to remove oneself from a bad situation or experience. Then rest and water to cleanse and renew our cells to complete and perfect health.

Many times anxiety goes hand on hand with depression, which in a lot of cases does require medication. That said, my daughter began taking CBD and was able to stop taking the antidepressant she was on. Through therapy, she has learned various techniques for controlling anxiety, such as "tapping."

My greatest accomplishment is that I raised two daughters that love to read.

I don't think that natural medicine can substitute traditional and conventional medicine because history is proof that modern medicine has enabled us to live longer lives than our ancestors, who had access to natural medicine. That is not to say that all natural medicines are useless for some natural remedies can act as wonderful complementary medicines to be taken alongside traditional medicine.
I do believe that with more research in the future, we should be able to form a better judgement of natural medicine.

It depends on how severe your anxiety is. If natural options suffice, then I will just stick to the natural ones. If I have severe anxiety symptoms, I would combine both prescriptions drugs and natural substitutes. Hope it helps :)

I think it depends on the causes of stress. I, an African don't believe paying a shrink to listen to my problems is going to make things alright. If you can manage natural options, put your mind to it and go for it.
