I loved the Bronte sisters. Every book they wrote I read and couldn't put down. I am glad I had an appreciation for the classics while most my friends didn't care about them. They are full of adventure, morals, lessons, and humor.

Definitely Jodi Picoult. I read all her books during my sophomore year and then reread them throughout junior and senior years. The librarian even put her newest book on hold for me when it came out because she knew how I felt without me asking.

My favorite author in high school was John Green. This was after I read his book, 'The Fault in our Stars.' It was a breathtaking read.

JK Rowling. Harry Potter was the thing back then and sure there were no other books I have read during that time. so JK topped the favorite author and I have loved her work ever since.
Smile, for better days are yet to come :D

In high school I loved GRRM and Karl Marx. Today my tastes have changed a bit. I love Toni Morrison and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
