Do you believe this book?

I totally believed this book, though it's not easy to say exactly how something happened right from when one is little. At some time when I had little doubts, I saw pictures that cleared my doubts.

I understand you, but I believe the book was true. I personally hadn't heard about Dr Ghoulem Berrah before I read this book. I also did my research and found out his accomplishments were true.

Yes, I do. Although for someone who did a lot of remarkable things in Africa I hadn't heard about him. I googled him and found out his achievements were true.

I believe his story because it is authentic. Dr. Ghoulem is a compassionate character whose memoir is accurately correct except for some things that are contradicting with reference to research.

The notion that the story is largely factual but that some of it may have been embellished is one with which I completely concur. Depending on who is recounting the narrative, there will frequently be a few variances.

I believe that any biography would be biased as the author would try to show the positive part of his character and to justify his or her actions. However, I always find it useful to read autobiographies by different people covering the same period of time to compare their narratives about the same events.

I find no reason to doubt him, it's his life, and if he says it was that way, then it was. I don't see any reason why he would lie or sugarcoat his story.

I think it’s true, maybe slightly embellished, however he’d be at a heavy disadvantage show he lie, hence true. I remember reading the book thinking if this was fiction I’d think the author was doing too much.

Overall I believe the book. Dr. Berrah's accomplishments were impressive, yet I do believe some were embellished versions. It was as if he had the 'Midas touch' where everything he did was successful (turned to gold)!

Exactly! I agree with you. Despite what he has to go through, it was like he overcome most of it and that was encouraging. His accomplishments were astonishing.

Even if it feels like the author was a little biased in the story, how did he not experience bad things and failure in his life?
Though I still believe in the book because it's is very inspirational.
