What a unique topic! It's terrifying. But, as you mention, we kind of had it coming when we put our selfish interests before protecting life and the environment.

I don't love going in the lake on the best of days, this book sounds like it wouldn't do anything for my lake-swimming confidence. Still, the book has quite an interesting premise, and I'd love to find out what happened on Labor Day. Thanks for the informative review.

I am suffering from a severe case of sea sickness, so anything revolving around water, big and small, are most definitely not my sort of cup of tea. I avoid water and don't even eat fish and other sea foods, therefore reading about it I will also have to skip. Shame, the story sounds really intriguing, if only it would have been in any other setting. Anyway, congrats with BOTD!

This story seems to involve genetic mutation and environmental science. Either way, I like the theme that is related to the environment and pollution. Thanks for your wonderful review.
