This is a unique way of portraying an interesting topic. It’s not like a lecture or a plain story with a moral lesson. Some actual thought has been put into this book

At first it sounded like it was going to be a horror story involving fish but a sci-fi/mystery sounds much more interesting.

Man's impact on the environment cannot be overemphasized and It is so sad when commerce competes with human lives for priority. I wonder if these flesh eating fishes got their existence from man's experiment. Great review.

The northern pike fish. I'd never heard of it before this book. How does an entire specie of fish evolve into man-eating creatures? I'd like to read the history behind this fish before and after it's evolution. Sounds like an educational read.

This book sounds interesting. It is good to learn about the evolution of living organisms. Knowing that it is laced with jokes and barbs makes it more appealing to me. Kudos to the reviewer.

With all the damage we're doing to our environment it's almost inevitable that things are going to go wring. This tale is an excellent (and entertaining) way of demonstrating that we need to be more careful of what we're doing. Thanks for the thorough review!

The book sounds interesting though I'm not sure this one is for me. In general the book seem intriguing. That's an interesting idea to make a thriller involving fish. Something happened on the shores of the lake that woke up the dormant ancient gene of the pike fish and transformed it into a dangerous killing machine. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
