I still can't conclude Meldorath's plan as evil since he only professed so far that he is uninterested in Cosmos but in Caromentis. However, if ever that Meldorath will perform evil plans, I think that Beth will not take part in it. But I think she will be a significant help to Meldorath in accessing the portal leading to Caromentis.

I think the plot ahead of beth would be twisted. First, I believe he would side with Meldorath and in her coming days have a change of heart and side with Galen or the people of hillport.
