You make very good points: I rather have congruence than a convoluted plot. My only little qualm to what appears to be a very interesting book is that you need to read the first installment to understand it, right? I wouldn't risk getting lost in what I consider to be an already difficult story.
Thank you!

I'm afraid that I will be spoiled if I read this book before reading the first one, so I will have to skip this for now. The theory on parallel/multiple universes is fascinating but may get confusing if it's not someone's cup of tea. Sci-fi fans will surely enjoy reading this one. Thank you for your helpful review.

Today's BOTD is the sequel to the highly popular novel Worldlines. Fit for both teens and adults, readers of scifi and thrillers better hold on tight! Sounds like it's going to be a wild ride! Can't wait to find out what happened to Michelle and see how it all plays out. Thanks for the great review!

I didn't know there will be a sequel. I haven't read book one. The premise is interesting what with him fighting to clear his name and bring the real killer to justice. Good review.

For all the books dealings with the multiverse concept, it seems that Guest has gone For that most natural of human needs; a constant. Or so it would seem from your statement, ‘The friendship between Gary, Sinead and Michelle was maintained in all the available timelines’.

I enjoyed the sample of this book better than the first. I liked the way it flowed and even though there will be some repetition of specific events I think it would be interesting to read. As it does not contain adult content, this is suitable for young as well as older readers. Thanks for the excellent review on this novel.

This book seems as fascinating as its prequel was. I think Gary seeking vengeance is justified, as he was being punished for a crime he never committed. I am intrigued about how the story is going to turn out. Thanks for the insightful review.

I find everything related to the different characters' instances and the events that can happen to them in each timeline interesting. The plot around a crime in which the main character vowed to seek justice adds appeal to the story. I haven't read the prequel "Worldlines" yet. I would like to read them in order.

I did not enjoy reading the first book because I found all the lifelines confusing. This book is a continuation of that book so I will have to skip this one. Thank you for your review.

A vigilante on a quest for revenge. What a plot! Definitely one for the shelves, for me. Congratulations on #BOTD

First worldliness, and now the Futility of Vengeance, Adam guest taking readers into the multiverse by making more of the story of Gray. It'll be interesting to see how Gary take his vengeance. That was a great review!

It is sounding like a great thriller novel. I do find the mulitverse theory in general confusing. The review was well done letting the reader know that it was a sequel to another book and giving some of the information of the pervious books so you understand what is happening. You know what you are getting when you read this book.

I didn't know the series continued. I did enjoy the sample even though I want to read the whole of it. So I'll reserve it for later. Book one was superb and I imagine this one will be great too. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Traveling through the multiverse often confuses me, in which universe I am. Still, I haven't read the prequel to this. I hope it's enjoyable to those who relish such genres. Anyway, terrific job on the review. :)

I have yet to read the first book in this series. I am not sure if I'll be able to distinguish the different Garys though, not to mention the different Michelles, Sineads, etc. Now how does blue Gary get the other Gary to pay for killing Michelle?

This all seems like solving a Rubik's Cube. I've never solved one. 😕
