The author seems to have tackled a myriad of topics without dropping the ball. I find it lovely that you were able to relate to a few of them. The issue of colorism and racism amongst colored people is a conversation that I feel shouldn't be left behind even as we move to an equitable world. Thank you for this detailed review!

It sounds like this is an engaging collection of poems on an important social topic. I agree with you on how people discriminate against others not only on the basis of colour (whites versus blacks/browns) but also over other differences.
And thanks for including a brief explanation of 'acrostic'. I learned something new today because of your review.
