How To Be Successful by M. Curtis McCoy is a motivational book about how to succeed in life. The book has interviews of several successful entrepreneurs. The author himself is a very successful entrepreneur who gives insight into how anyone can make it big. The author is a living example who overcame difficulties and became very successful. He was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes at two years old. In his twenties, he developed grand mal seizures. He was later diagnosed with brain cancer and was told he wouldn't live more than two or three months. Despite all the obstacles, he never stopped himself from achieving his goals. Read this highly motivating book to know the secrets to achieve success in every aspect of life!

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. The book is thought-provoking and inspiring. The author focuses on what can be done to overcome hurdles and improve yourself. He has used several examples from his experiences. The language is uncomplicated and easy to follow. The author is straightforward and gets to the point quickly. The book is very organized. It has interviews with several people, but the author has arranged his opinions and interviews in separate chapters in an orderly manner. I loved several of the quotes mentioned in the book.

The author has also done a great job in writing the suggestions in points. I find it extremely helpful. One thing that I found common about all the successful entrepreneurs is that they all refused to quit. And that is the stepping stone in any venture. But tenacity is not the only thing. Success has other crucial determining factors. Most people don't consider them important. But incorporating them into your life can make a huge difference. I felt enlightened after discovering them. And I plan to read the book several more times and gain more insight. Also, the author's take on profanity is applaudable.

There is nothing that I disliked about the book. One thing I would like to mention is that the author called Albert Einstein a mathematician. He might have been a mathematician, but he is more of a physicist. The book also tells you what to expect once you achieve success. The author has managed to subtly hint at not becoming a hardhead once you reach that position.

All in all, I loved this book. It has everything one needs to know about accomplishing their goal. For all the above reasons, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It has all the elements of a good motivational book. And I hope it helps a lot of people achieve what they desire. The book is very well-edited.

I suggest this book to teenagers and adult audiences alike. There is a lot one can learn from this book. The book contains several verses from the Bible. And it also mentions religious topics.
