The Matters seem to struggle through tough times and they manage to cope with challenges. That serves as a good motivation to anyone who has undergone a tragedy of some kind. I would definitely read this book due to the fact that it is set during the covid-19 pandemic, something that affected us all.

I also reviewed this book, but I was less enthusiastic about it than Sam. It is indeed too new to be historical fiction, and readers may not be open to reading about the pandemic, as it is still raging. I understand that the author had to rewrite portions of the prequels because of the unexpected intrusion of the pandemic midway into the series.

This appears to be a fascinating book. It's a shame it needs more work.
Historical fiction that is both relatable and informative is something I enjoy reading. Great review

This book sounds like one I should add to my reading list. A family who experienced so much trials and still never led them into despair is very inspiring. Your review was very precise.

Historical fiction is fast becoming a favourite genre. I like how the reader employs conversational writing style in narrating the Matters family story. The author has done a great job with the character development and descriptions. Definitely worth giving the book a read as it is very relatable. Thank you for your wonderful review.

I had a hard time following along with what happened to Lou in the sample, but I think that this is just me. Hopefully, the rest of the book is not as confusing. Thanks for the review! :)

This book presents a touching story that looks into some real events that happened in 2020 (the pandemic and George Floyd's death.) It sounds like something I would like to read. Congrats!

"Home Again 2020" by Roberta M Roy - A story of people who suffer tragedy in their lives and how they overcome it. The Matters family, mum and dad, and two boys experience a nuclear meltdown, the Covid 19 pandemic, and the George Floyd killing, all of which have a devastating effect. Thanks for the review.

I like that the author used a lot of creativity in developing characters, and that the dialogues in this book are engaging. This book and its serious topics sound very well-executed, but I’m afraid the topics don’t really appeal to me. Great review by the way.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting historical fiction about a family that suffered from the backlash of a nuclear meltdown. That did not stop the family from moving on and trying to live a normal life. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

A historical fiction with an inspirational tone seems intriguing enough. A family that faces the after effects of a nuclear melt down and health problems. I'm interested in the read. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This book seems to break with the known scheme of historical fiction. I think it's interesting that the author focuses on providing a context as current as of the Covid-19 and a family that could be yours. Thanks for such a great review, I am certainly interested in reading this book.
