Ok, so I've been shopping around for an agent recently and I got the funniest reply.

One of the agents told me that everyone is looking for a literary agent these days (well, duh!)
And that I'd be better off submitting directly to a publisher.

Ok, say I do that...yknow what the publisher will tell me: "Sorry kid, go get an agent."

So it's a vicious circle. What's left, self publishing?

hey that's not a bad idea!

whatever you do, don't pay to have your stuff published. if you do, it wasn't worth it.
