I've always been intrigued by Celtic themes and this book delves into Celtic and Arthurian legends. What I appreciate most about this fantasy fiction is that it can be read as a standalone despite being in a series. I can't wait to find out the connection between Nina, Owen and Merlin. This is a fantasy fiction story that takes place in America and England. Nina's father died and Nina and her mother travel to England to get away from their loss Nina learns that her friend Owen is missing. It seems that this is all connected with Merlin and his magic. One needs to read the book to find out. Very good review.

I’ve always loved Arthurian tales, including retellings. Modern ones are a little less my style but can still be fascinating, and I think this one sounds up my alley. The review says that Morgan is Merlin’s sister in this book, and that’s an angle I haven’t seen taken before, so it could be interesting. With “Nimue” in the title, I’m particularly intrigued. However, I’d rather read the first two books before jumping into this one. Thank you for the helpful review.
