This book is highly reminiscent of "Twilight." I can easily see Aaron and Edward in a similar light. They're both vampires; Aaron just absorbs lifeforce rather than blood. Of course, just as with Edward, that doesn't prevent me from wanting the romance to work out. Ahh...you have to love destiny, don't you? Great review!

This sci-fi book seems to have an interesting world with mysterious creatures, such as the Lemurians. It brings the New World, the question of the existence of the ancient city of Telos. Too bad it has so many errors. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

I am not so sure that I would enjoy a story about a New World, so I will pass. The scene about the girls looking at mountain-climbing boys was very humorous. Thanks for the review! :)

This seems to be an exciting fantasy/sci-fi story in which the protagonist, Julissa, is a high school girl who seems to get into trouble quite easily. With action, suspense and mysterious legends, this should appeal to teenage readers and young adults as well as fans of the fantasy genre. Thanks for a great review on this book.

Thanks for this wonderful and insightful review. Solstice Series sounds like action-paked and suspenseful science fiction novel that talks about the birth of a New World according as portrayed in the Record of Ancient Matters. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of sci-fi novels hence, I'll pass on this.

An interesting young adults Sci-Fi fantasy with a thought provoking plot. The series is about the birth of a New World according to the Record of Ancient Matters. I would be fascinated if a dead pig came alive in my biology class. Young adults will enjoy this book. Thank you for your great review.

With the promise of action, mystery, and suspense, this one sounds pretty interesting. The review's description of dead pigs coming alive during Biology class alone gets me excited for this one!

The one part in the review that really made me wonder is when the dead pigs come alive? Can you imagine that happening in a biology class it would be pure chaos. Anyway thanks for the fabulous review I’m not quite sure this book is for me but I will certainly give it a try congrats on the BOTD .
