This type of science fiction is not really something I usually enjoy but from the sample reading, this series looks well written and captivating so I may have to give it a try. It does look like it's geared more toward teens so it's something my daughter may enjoy. Thank you for the informative review.

Ancient cities under mountains. That's interesting. There are many underground cities around the world, built by technology that we don't have. That part sounds interesting.

The book thought me to be lookout towards character and personality of people around me that. That Julissa was not aware of the danger around Aaron.

I’m not too interested in reading a high school story. The number of error in this book will also distract me. Thank you for your review.

Julissa moves to Shasta City after her boyfriend, uncle and father die within a short period of time. Does the ancient city of Telos really exist inside of Mount Shasta? Congratulations on BOTD!

This story is a five-book series that takes place near Mt. Shasta, CA. It is an action-packed thrilling fantasy that makes one think about how lives are affected by people around them. I look forward to reading all five books that I have purchased because of the excellent review.

I’ve lived near Mount Shasta almost my whole life, and I first heard the legend of Lemuria and the Lemurians when I went on a field trip to Shasta Caverns as a kid. It seems like I can’t escape the idea of Telos and the Lemurians the past few years. The first book of this series seems to add some interesting twists, though, such as the inclusion of Mayan lore and dead pigs coming to life in biology class. So, this book—and the series—might be worth trying, even though I’m hesitant as I’m tired of this legend. Thank you for the helpful review.

Fans of science fiction will enjoy today's Book of the Day. It's "a fascinating story full of action, mystery, and suspense." Not a fan, though.

"This is a fascinating story full of action, mystery, and suspense. Dead pigs come alive during Biology class, a car is pulled back up over a cliff with telepathic powers, and scorched smelling air are just a few of the events you will encounter. Have you ever wondered about life-forces and how they affect all species? Have you noticed grasshoppers only hop forward, never sideways or backward? When individuals are depressed or sad, the human touch can be powerful. Or, you can go from being happy to sad depending on the people around you. Why is this? "

Wow! I get to learn something new every day. I have never observed grasshoppers to that extent but now I'm curious. I agree with the point about one being happy or sad depending on the people around you. I'm also trying to picture the scene where dead pigs come alive during a Biology class and imagining how my high school class would have reacted to such a scenario. The book generally sounds interesting, I am compelled to start reading it.
