U-10 by Sam B Miller II is a sci-fi novel that is filled with thrilling action, and it is based on a galactic theme. The book contains 241 pages, and it is divided into 18 chapters. Each chapter of the book has a unique title that gives the reader an idea of what to expect. The book starts with the new assignment that was given to Koritt Diviak. Koritt is an impatient creature by nature, and he wants to do something better than experimenting on worms with his degree in genetic engineering. The destination for his new assignment is Earth, and he decided to embark on the journey with U-10. The U-10 is a devastating technology based on advanced molecular and sub-atomic innovation. In the hands of an intelligent human, it was a disclosure of a well-guarded galactic coalition technology. Ty Lavender and his squad have the duty of removing insurgents from the battlefield in Afghanistan. His squad, Orion squad, is under the 10th Mountain Division. His squad continues their duties until they witness the crash-landing of Koritt's UFO. Meanwhile, mercenaries have been sent to deal with Koritt Diviak and neutralize Earth. They are ruthless, and their plan also involves the extermination of a certain subject that was sent on a mission by the bureaucrats. Will Koritt Diviak be successful in his mission? What would be the impact of his encounter with Ty Lavender? Did the mercenaries succeed?

U-10 by Sam B Miller II is a wonderful piece of science fiction. The book was written with the third-person narrative. I love the plot of the book and its storyline. In my opinion, the author did a good job in the characterization of this novel. I loved the introduction of the characters and how he developed them.

Human intelligence is entirely astounding, and it is quite wonderful that humans are innovative and adaptive to any situation that occurs. Our bodies have been made to be able to sync with whatever may occur except in cases where the situation transcends our human capabilities. I like Ty Lavender's personality. He is a responsible leader who puts the well-being of his squad first.

I enjoyed every aspect of this book. Sincerely, there was nothing negative within this book. One thing I learned from the book is that teamwork is important. I believe that the success of a team's plan is dependent on the rate at which they work together.

This book was well-written. This book seems to be professionally edited. I did not notice any grammatical or spelling errors but I noticed a few omissions of words while reading the book.

U-10 was an intriguing read for me, and I believe that it would be a good read for other lovers of sci-fi and fantasy. There are a few lessons to learn from this book. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars due to the few points mentioned above.

I have to admit that I am a little confused by this review. It may be, however, because the names are so unfamiliar. I hope that Koritt can successfully complete his mission.
