Review of The Maestro Monologue
The moment I picked this book, I knew I was embarking on a life-changing experience. The book's actual page count was more than what was reported on the book's description on OBC, and it discouraged me at the beginning of my read; little did I know I was going to wish the publication never ended.
Rather than ask yourself the healthy question, how may I see myself differently so I may learn something that empowers me, you often ask the unhealthy question, what is wrong with me? A productive result comes from asking healthy questions because healthy questions are the foundations for new understandings that set you up for new possibilities.
The book The Maestro Monologue by Rob White is a 421-page non-fiction book that seeks to awaken readers' self-consciousness of the right attitudes that maximizes potential. At the beginning of the book, the author carefully divided the book into four parts: Ultimate Understanding, The Intruder, Maestro Monologue, and Magic Kingdom.
There are so many positive aspects of this book. And what I like most about it is that the author writes in simple language that makes it very easy for readers to comprehend. Furthermore, the author, through his stories and beautiful quotes, made the book very engaging and fascinating.
I especially found two stories in this book interesting and inspiring: the story of Jason, who never saw anything good about himself because of his interpretation of his “No-Chapters” and the story of the Orphaned Eagle, who limited itself because of its “Misidentification”. Indeed, the author exhibited his writing skills of pinning down the reader's interest through these stories.
There is absolutely nothing I dislike about this 421-page book, and the fact that I found only two errors throughout the publication shows that it was professionally edited.
I, therefore, give The Maestro Monologue a perfect rating of four out of four stars for its exciting and engaging stories that gave a clearer picture of the author's ideas and teachings.
I would also like to say that this book is an embodiment of thorough research work carried out by the author. It is evident in the number of citations I found in the book and the number of books referenced in its endnote.
Lastly, the section titled 'Authorism' added value to the book by giving a brief explanation of some of the uncommon terms used in the book, which would further aid readers in having a smooth reading experience that is devoid of ambiguities.
I highly recommend The Maestro Monologue to readers who love reading inspirational non-fiction books that awaken the human body and spirit towards the right attitude to attain our potentials through inspirational quotes and stories.
