A Cowboys Wisdom by Mark Haywood is a book that comprises seventy thoughts on life’s best practices and how to live a life that is distinguished from others. At the onset, my idea of cowboys was that they were shepherds, but they were distinguished because they always rode on horseback with a fanciful cap and shoe. However, the author of this book interpreted cowboys from a different perspective. The author conceived cowboys as individuals who were ready to offer themselves for the care of others. It can be a man or a woman, but the chief criterion is that they accept they are on a journey to be like Christ. With each day that comes, there is an opportunity to be more focused on Christ and live a life that is purpose-driven. But the question is, why do I need to live that way? The author in this book presents seventy thoughts on how to achieve this and why one should live that way.

The story of Christ is one of the most controversial stories in religion. Christians hold tight to this story and have potent reasons and shreds of evidence to prove it, but why does it seem like it’s only the Christians that are seeing this truth that others are not seeing? The author of this book partly answered this question, and I loved his point of view and presentation. Another problem faced by Christians is that they are ready to follow and live the cowboys' life, but life experience stifles this passion and hard work. This book is the perfect answer to such problems, as it guides the reader through a Christian path towards becoming like Christ. I also enjoyed this aspect of the book. Finally, the book’s cover is very attractive and thought-provoking. The chaptering is amazing, and the size of the book is friendly. It is a splendid book, and I love these things about it.

I enjoyed everything about the book and hated nothing about it. However, I would recommend another round of editing.

This is a brilliant book, well written. The author wrote with a visible determination. Furthermore, it's commendable that the author wants to help the reader on his journey to Christ. The author also adopted a literary narrative technique to communicate with the reader. With stories, he made his points. The purpose of the book is clear. However, I rate it 3 out of 4. Another round of editing could bring the best out of the book.

I recommend this book to religious scholars and to Christians. This is a perfect guide for every Christian on a journey to be like Christ. This is an influential book, and I strongly recommend it.

I, too, had an entirely different view of cowboys from the one presented by the author. As far as I can see, striving to be like Christ is admirable.

I need to have this cowboy wisdom. Before now, I have not really thought about what makes cowboys different from others but now I know better. Thanks for the review.

I've never associated cowboys with Christianity. This is interesting.
