Likewise! Kalayla was my favourite character. That's because her rebellious nature appealed to me. Further, she's an absolute fighter. She's one of the characters who inspire me.anoushka_thakur wrote: ↑01 Sep 2020, 00:29 Who was your favorite character and why?
If you ask me my favorite character was Kayala. I loved her character in this book. I was touched by her story.

My funniest moment was Kalayla's reaction when she stormed into Lena's apartment after meeting her grandfather for the first time. She has a funny way of venting her anger. And of course, my favourite character is Kalayla, she is funny and wiser than her age.Joseph_ngaruiya wrote: ↑04 Sep 2020, 10:02What's your funniest Kalayla moment? It's hard for me to choose, but I like it when she opts for peanut butter cookies to carry Lena's bags.Anna Dougherty wrote: ↑01 Sep 2020, 10:14 My favorite character is Kalayla because she is mature and funny.

Kalayla as it's nice to see things through her eyes, at her age. Also that girls' wit is quite funny.
Lena because a lot she went through with her husband, I can relate to and secondly cause you actually learn a lot from her through some of the advise she gives to Maureen and Kalayla.
Lastly the two of them and their sarcasm was absolutely brilliant and so funny
