Wow! Your review got me thinking about how did they came upon the island while playing games. This seems to be a good thriller, I wonder how the story goes! What mysteries lie for the characters to solve?

Thank you so much for the review!

Reading this review reminds me of the movie Jumanji. Maybe that’s where the author got the inspiration to write the novel from. From the review one can tell that book would be worth the time spent reading it.

In Island Games by Caleb J. Boyer, Ryan and Matthew, best friends, find themselves washed out on a beach with no memory of how they got there. They instinctively know they have to find shelter and food, fearing dangers in the forest. They decide to find a way off the island as a priority, as there seems to be no way of getting help.

Ryan is determined to find out how they landed on the beach and remembers playing games with Matthew. As they try to survive, it becomes clear that someone expects them to complete certain tasks, which are rewarded with food and tools. It seems as though they have gotten stuck in some type of virtual game.

The book keeps the reader's attention till the very last page, with many challenges on the island that could result in serious injury or death. The element of suspense is elevated to almost unbearable levels, and the two friends have to overcome many difficulties, which ultimately brings them even closer together. The story highlights the importance of teamwork and friendship.

The characters are well-developed, and the storyline doesn't lag. Every task the boys had to complete was explained clearly and concisely, making it easy to understand. The constant uncertainty of what might happen next kept the reader reading until the very last page. There was also a nice twist in the plot, but this will only be revealed to those who read the book.

The book has been professionally edited and is recommended for teenagers who enjoy adventure and sci-fi. The author's young age and professional editing make it a highly recommended book for teenagers and fans of adventure and sci-fi.
