Maybe I'm old for this novel but it seems like the story is engaging with its fantasy setting and the murder mystery element. Thank you for your great review!

Thank you so much for this review! The main fact I have found for myself it is the thing that we have a character in the face of woman here, who is not afraid to speak and goes against the rules in the old times.
Just at that moment when I saw this information I have got the feelling of something so similar to my inner world. I choose this book to put it on my bookshelves!

The book seems interesting to read, especially if there is a woman going against norms in it, can't wait to read it.

The events are happening very quickly which leaves you asking many questions. As a result, you find yourself starting chapter 2 without hesitation.
This type of adventure book is great. I love it more when it's fast pace. The con of the book doesn't bother me that much. When the author didn't describes the characters looks in detail, I always imagine random faces that suit the names. Gonna add it to my read list!

Reading this book is amazing. Delvin's character is the one I admired most. I think the author had a good plot in mind and potrayed it well. Nice review.

I also read the book and agree with you. The only thing that I didn't fully love is the beginning part where Delvin moves on after being accused of murder. I don't understand how could he just move on and don't even wonder who killed his mentor

The summary looks motivating and inspiring for us to read.
From my understanding, Delvin does not kill Borlock, it is simply mysterious.
Princess Jarla is a wonderful and an inspiring example, and everyone appreciates a leader woman. An example to learn and follow.
