The ancient wooden box sounds intriguing, and I love how the whole family comes together to solve an old mystery in this book.

From what I read of the book, it seems to have lots of adventure and the review supports my perception of this. I always enjoy books and movies that cover different time periods and show connections and correlations throughout the ages. It makes me feel connected to the past.

The author pens a compelling ghost story involving a family of four in this mystery thriller. The story begins with a murder in the sixteenth century. It progresses to the present day when John, Helen, and their children visit Combe Hills and uncover ancient artifacts that send them on a whirlwind adventure.

The way events kept unfolding will make a reader glued to this book's pages till the end. I love Oweyn's character out of all. All the same, I found the storyline intriguing. Congrats on BOTD.

Oweyn sounds like an interesting character indeed. The story has mystery and adventure, and the family of well-developed characters surely add more quality.
