Trust Yourself Again: Your Gaslighting Recovery: Overcome and Heal From Your Experience with Relationship Abuse and Find Your Path by Dennis Chapman discusses gaining liberation from emotional abuse. The author dwelled on the narcissistic behavior of individuals and exposed how abusers use gaslighting on their victims to get what they want. Dennis was able to lay down significant facts to get freed from narcissistic abuse. He dwells on narcissistic, manipulative, and tactical ways to control their victims. He tells the long-lasting effects of emotional abuse on the victims, propelling solutions or ways narcissistic victims can get out of the abuse. The book was furnished to give the reader a great and deep understanding of the effects of emotional abuse in relationships. Identifying abusers was another clear fact this book discusses.

This book seems to be the best I've come across in dealing with emotional abuse. One great feature of this book is its clarity and simplicity. Dennis defined and accurately gave the reader an enormous understanding of the keywords used in the book. Also, I love how the author uses the fictional character, Ken, to adequately capture the reader's attention, giving the reader a clear understanding of the topic. The character, Ken, was used in the context of this book as the main personality exhibiting narcissistic behavior.

Dennis Chapman writes extensively. Having endured emotional abuse from his narcissistic mother and his first marriage, he dared to apply his knowledge in health care to help people walk out of abusive relationships. This is, so far, a world-class educational book on emotional abuse in relationships. I've found books that focus on physical abuse, but Dennis' book revealed the unseen realities of emotional abuse.

Another real fact about this book is how the writer uses accessible research data to illustrate his facts exclusively. For instance, he discusses the percentage of women who experience violence according to the organization: "Futures Without Violence." He also made references to other research he did.

While the author made this book a step-by-step guide to getting out of an abusive relationship, the healing process is one of the most important features. This part got my full attention. Emotional torture or abuse could have an everlasting effect if not properly treated. The practical aspect will be extremely helpful. It will be reasonable to note that the author had an experience that enriched the book to give the reader a worthy read.

Trust Yourself Again: Your Gaslighting Recovery: Overcome and Heal From Your Experience with Relationship Abuse and Find Your Path by Dennis Chapman connects with the reader. It is a self-help book. There was nothing obnoxious or negative about this book. I found just a few errors while reading. It was professionally edited. Consequently, it deserves a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.

I would love to recommend this book to those going through emotional trauma, as it could be the beginning of someone's breakthrough.

This definitely sounds like a must-read book. I like how the author approach the topics, first identifying signs of emotional abuse, then on how the abusers do it, what are the effects, finally on how to get out. A fictional character can be a powerful tool to demonstrate ideas. Thank you for the review.

I call emotional abuse, torture. It's very unfair and inhuman. Thanks for the nice review.
