Review of The Ironbark Hill Saga

I've read part of this saga when it was divided into individual books. I would agree that the story could be more exciting with action. Natalie seems to be the backbone of the family and seems to degenerate herself, almost envious when she sees her sisters gain their freedom from the shackles of poverty.

This Australian story encompasses the years from 1954 to 1990. When part-aboriginal Natalie turns 16, she decides to remain living on her grandfather's run-down farm with her mother, siblings, and Alex, her alcoholic stepfather. Can't wait to read it. Congrats on botd. Great review.
