I mean Anabelle is another spinoff of The Conjuring. I much prefer the Conjuring since the overall story and pacing was much better. Anabelle worked better as a side story, which The Conjuring balanced perfectly.Agatha Bushguy wrote: ↑14 Sep 2022, 02:00 I did not like the Nun. It was not scary at all. I prefer Anabelle.
Chucky was my favorite back in the day.
I still am a big fan of the original Paranormal Activity. Watch it alone on a dark night.
Interview with the Vampire is another favorite. It's a decent adaptation of the Anne Rice novel and has some great performances by Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and a young Kirsten Dunst.

Some of it doesn't quite come off as a 'documentary' as there's things that wouldn't be shown in a genuine doco. All the same, it's a horror film that stays with me.

Scene wise, that part in Conjuring when the mom is trapped in the cellar and suddenly two hands appear beside her and clap twice - chills. Or in the second Conjuring when you catch a glimpse of the old man rocking in his chair in the living room.
