Loss and pains can, quite ironically, initiate a fresh phase in our lives. This is seen in the life of H.N. Lawrence, whose losses led her into spiritual seeking through poetry. I like that this poem is well-edited and that it explores such striking themes as self-exploration, peace, nature, and sorrow, among others.

Expressive poetry captures the innermost feelings of the author. There are authors who can draw you into their feelings however, I felt disconnected from the poems and read them from the outside looking in. The sophisticated nature of Lawrence's poetry style does not allow the reader to explore their own personal feelings or see themselves in this literary recollection. This may be a great choice for poetry lovers however I'll sit out this one. Congratulations to the author on being selected as today's BOTD pick.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of poems focusing on the idea of self-discovery. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

From the title of the book, I was able to detect that it will be a religious book. Thanks for an interesting review.

I am a big fan of poetry and this book gives a calming feelings. The author's self-discovery released a lot of beautiful pieces. Your review and likes mentioned in it were quite nice. In all, I'd love to read this book.

A free style spiritual-meditation poetry with the flowing nature theme sounds delightful. I don't usually enjoy this genre just cause it is beyond my current language level. Nice review.

The book portrays the author's grief and love of nature that is evident in this collection of poetry. It also explores other strong themes which includes Intimacy, acceptance, joy, self-discovery and many more. Congrats on the BOTD.

Thank you for your great review. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book. I do enjoy poetry, but mainly the ones that rhyme and the rhythm of it. While I didn't understand all of it, I could feel strong emotions in it, if that makes any sense to anyone else. I'm sure those that enjoy the poetry genre will definitely appreciate this book.

The poem is an expression of spiritual, emotional, social and mental aspect of human as an entity. It sets up a call for intermittent meditation and appears to sooths the soul, hence, a must read for me.

Not a fan of spirituality or poetry, so this is not the book for me, I'm afraid. Thank you for your review, though, and congratulations on Book of the Day!
