In my experience, this is so accurate. I have seen my grandfather lose his brother to illness and the only thing it did was make him trust in God more to make sure he is taken care of when his time comes.

I definitely agree with your point. For me, it feels as though I am being overlooked and almost as though I am not important enough to be looked after. Very difficult.Victoria Ukamaka wrote: ↑05 Sep 2022, 08:11 If you have gone through similar experiences, you would know that it is hard to keep believing in God even when everything happening seems to be showing that God does not care about you. Holding on to God's words, believing that he knows exactly what is going on, and that all things works for our good is not easy.

Yes, the blame game always comes up when someone vis experiencing a traumatic experience. People often think that they are above traumatic events or that they shouldn't even experience traumatic events because they are religious people. It is not so.anne Irungu wrote: ↑05 Sep 2022, 12:32 i think the more appropriate question is whether it is okay to lose faith in God after a traumatic experience? I think losing faith is more of a first response to the situation because a person is usuaaly in aplace where he/she is looking for somebody or something to blame.

This also counts. Smallers temptations might not cause a person to lose faith. However, bigger traumatic events are more likely to lead a person into questioning their faiths and beliefs, therefore leading them into falling out of faith.
