Because I'm already working, I feel like I can't completely turn off my cellphone, and I also often read from my cellphone. Hehe

It largely depends on the book, if it engaging...then there is no way I am letting anyone disturb or distract me until I am done reading.

I should, 'cause it's a huge distraction, but I don't. My parents would freak out if they couldn't reach me for too long, and I get too anxious over missing notifications. Reading on my phone helps 'cause then I can just swipe down, see I've got no notifications, and keep reading.

Of course, I always put my phone away while reading. But I won't tone it down, if anyone is looking for me, they can find me. I often put on some nice music on my phone to read.

Yes. I really don't like distractions when I'm reading especially if the book is exciting. Distractions would just get on my nerves

No I do not turn iff my phone when reading. But when it becomes distracting, I put it on silent.

No, but I'll absolutely ignore it if I want to. Unless something is fairly urgent I'll usually finish my chapter before responding to texts. And my little rule for myself is when I have my weekend morning coffee, I sit and read uninterrupted until the coffee is done, no responding to things even between chapters unless it's truly urgent.
