Do you collect books?

I don't collect classics or anything to preserve value, but I definitely have a problem getting rid of books. I couldn't take them all with me when I moved, so about half of my collection is still at my parents' house.

Yes! I recently started collecting limited edition books. I try to limit my copies of books to 2. One for reading and one simply for the collection. I especially love my collections to be in hard covers.

Yes, I started collecting books when I was in High School but when this pandemic came, I have to find a way to earn money so I thought about it really hard and now I am still selling my preloved books at reasonable price I am not promoting or anything, I just wanted to share

I used to, but after moving a few times and hauling those books around I realized I needed to downsize. I've limited myself to one small bookshelf. My eBook collection? Now that's a different story.

One copy is enough for me too, and only if I loved the book and there's a chance I will read it again. Since I read mostly e-books now, only if I really loved the book I will also buy the hard cover version to stand on my shelf.

I've been collecting my favourites in hardback special editions for years. I tend not to read these ones. They are just to look pretty on the shelf!

Sadly I don't have the space to display my books currently (children ruin everything). There are certain books I do collect and despite keeping hold of all my books I would be ok with not owning lots of them. Now having a baby (15 months) I am really glad that I kept all of the books I liked as a child/teenager that he will be able to read as well.

Star Wars books is one of the things that really hooked me into reading and I do enjoy hunting around in old and second hand book shops for first edition and hardback versions of them. I have around 30 or so in first edition as well as the later version I already had.
