A yes, I do something not so dissimilar...
To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream, not only plan, but also believe.

Everytime I write, I always head off to my laptop and start typing. I can also type fast and create a number of articles rather than writing on paper.

I prefer typing on computer rather than writing on paper. Typing is fast compared to writing but on few occasions writing is better than typing because something written in your own handwriting has more value than of a computer print out.

I type more than I write by hand, but I'd say its 60/40.

Writing is on my laptop, but when it's not at hand, a small moleskin gets my hand-written notes.

Absolutely yes. There are just too many benefits to using a computer to write. Instant and multiple backups, spellcheck and grammar check, and the search function, just to name a few. Plus, transcribing something from paper to the computer is one of the worst things in this world.

I prefer typing on my computer because my writing projects tends to be more organized than those I jot down on paper. But, I also have some trouble focusing on one thing at a time, and tend to get distracted by all the other apps I have jammed into my pc...

No, not always. Although I type fast, sometimes I still like writing...not sure why. I went to school in an Asian country in Elementary School, and we were taught hand-writing, so maybe that's why I like hand-writing sometimes?

When I take notes, I would prefer hand-writing though because then I get to draw arrows and such..

I prefer to type because it's faster and easier to edit.

I tend to do both, because I've never been able to just sit down at a certain time, and write write write. I usually have to write down what I'm thinking when the inspiration hits. And that can be at any time, anywhere. So I keep a notebook on my always, and when I'm driving, I'll use a dicta, or voice recorder, so my eyes don't wander from the road. lol

I use the pen to get an idea down when it hits me, and I also leave the computer on and use dragon speech and have the microphone nearby. When a thought hits me, I can just say it and edit it later on the computer.

I do not always use a computer to initially write my work; however, when I am ready to start proofreading my work, I always make sure that I type it up to catch any mistakes or word changes I'd like to make.
