People who have "disabilities" generally also have some superior ability that may stay hidden if someone doesn't dig in and recognize it. This book concentrates on the abilities as opposed to the disabilities of the character. I look forward to learning more. Congratulations on BOTD! Thank you for your review.

Acausal parallelism is a very interesting topic. I am glad to discover a book where the author wrote that into the story line. More often than not, children with learning disabilities have stronger and more profound gifts when one overlooks the learning disabilities. I cannot wait to read about Aiyana's journey and how she overcame her obstacles.

Allan's story is one to draw strength from. Irrespective of what is happening or the name one is called. We must never give up because giving up isn't an option. Nice work, congratulations on botd!

I appreciated the structure of the book, with each chapter presenting a different character's point of view, and the use of incorrect grammar to illustrate the level of illiteracy in the trailer park where Aiyana grew up. I found the book educational, particularly in introducing you to the concept of acausal parallelism.

Aiyana's talent is a unique one, but I wonder how she copes with her condition. And I'm glad that she found love, congrats on BOTD!!

Beyond the Headlights is a short but heartwarming story about a girl with a special gift. I'm fascinated by the whole concept of acausal parallelism. I look forward to reading about Aiyana's rise to fame and her journey to get there. Congratulations on making book of the day!

This is a story that catches your attention from the start. Aiyana is a gifted girl with musical instruments despite her difficulty in reading, writing, and understanding things. I hope that she rose to stardom despite her challenges. Thanks for the review.

This book seems like a account of a dyslexic child Aiyanna. While she struggles with dyslexia, she has been gifted in another area and plays piano beautifully. This book serves as a great educational book for parents and teachers dealing with accusal parallelism and dyslexia.
