I've always found an open relationship to be intriguing. Although it's not one that I see myself engaging in later in life, but never say never. In my opinion, polyamory is absurd and will only lead to more problems in a marriage. Maybe it helped the author balance her relationship with her husband. I'm just not a fan of it.

Polyamory is becoming more acceptable in society, and I strongly believe in “do what makes you happy”. A relationship like this is definitely not for everyone, and if you have severe issues in your “base” relationship, this will end that relationship. Polyamory is not a quick fix for a relationship that is completely falling apart. This will be an informative book for the curious.
