There's nothing more interesting than stealing from a crime boss and entering a world of crime. I applaud you for the review. You did justice by describing the events and promoting the book.

I could relate to how Jack felt being in a job just because it pays the bills. I hope he survives those goons. Thanks for the review, very informative.

The book sounds like a good read. I do not think the reviewer should have spoiled the fact that Bev was killed though, that should have been left for the reader to discover. I am sure I will enjoy reading this novel.

Devil's Ice is an interesting read with themes I'm of thrills, action, adventure and suspense. The plot was exceptional showing how creative the author is. It would be perfect for readers who enjoy reading books on action and adventure. Thanks for the review.

I have to wonder why they killed Bev. Did she and Jack refuse to give back the diamonds the found? Thank you for your review.

Review is interesting. I've only read a sample of this book, but I'm really curious in Jack's survival of Benny. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

I, too, was drawn to the title of this book. I'm so glad you loved it. I'm always reluctant to read debut novels, but some of the best books I've ever read were debut ones. Thank you so much for recommending this one. It really is up my alley. :tiphat:

Very good review! This book is a fast-paced action thriller with a lot of suspense. The main character, Jack, gets involved in a complicated situation involving diamonds, metaphorically named the devil's ice. I am interested in reading this novel.

"violence, crime and passion", with that haste I feel that I can devour this book, it intrigues me.

Thanks for this review, it describes the highlights very well and definitely tells enough to encourage reading. The action and suspense seem very dynamic and present in the plot, I like that a lot.

I am not sure if I would even touch a random box of diamonds I found on a train; I would be too suspicious. This book sounds like it would be a great crime thriller for those who love these kinds of books. Thanks for the review!

Like the reviewer, I like the title of this book. Also the cover page is inviting to start reading. Diamonds, crime, Jack one day stuck in a boring life and then the center of the action. I will surely read this book.

This is a typical story of a simple, everyday guy caught up in a situation he never bargained for. I can't wait to see how Jack navigates his issues with the Chicago crime boss.

I'll definitely read this action thriller. It's a shame what happened to Bev, but I hope Jack can get away from Benny's awful plans.
