While the character development sounds spit on, this isn't really my genre of interest. A book about a witch and her wolf brothers would appeal to sci-fi or fantasy readers. Thanks for the informative review.

"See a Witch About a Curse" by Loen Hussain "tells a story about an alpha witch and four werewolf brothers." Azaela is the witch and her parents raised her secretly so that the other witches would not attack her. Her parents died and she became a loner working at a gas station store. One night a good-looking guy came into the store to buy ice for his sick brother. It turns out this guy was a werewolf and witches do not get along with werewolves. She offered special herbs to help his brother and as a result she ended up meeting the brothers and broke the spell cast by a witch on the youngest brother. One needs to read the book to learn how Azaela benefited from her act of kindness and if she made more friends. An interesting story that I have added to my To-Read shelf.

This fantasy romance book sounds interesting. I read the sample and liked the interaction between the main-female-character and reader. I have added this book to my reading list. Great review!

Sometimes we help people out of the goodness of our hearts and things back fire and we end up with enemies and other times, we end up creating a solid friendship and connection that could last forever. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

This sounds like a fun read. I usually avoid books filled with profanity. But I'm curious of the relationship between Azalea and the four brothers. Think I'd like to enjoy this book. Thank you for a nice review.

In an intriguing review, Azalea, an alpha witch, suggests help to a customer dealing with a brother suffering from fever It turns out that the customer and his three brothers are werewolves, natural enemies to witches. The reviewer warns of a lot of profane language as expected from the world of sorcery, but the ending is hidden to the last page, much to the reviewer's delight. This definitely offers the hook for reading and it has been added to my library as a result.

My attention was immediately captured as I read a sample of the author's writing. Your well-written and favorable book review has also encouraged me to keep reading it. I look forward to seeing how Azalea's relationship with the werewolf brothers pans out.

Thanks for the great review. You really made the book sound very interesting, even though I typically don’t go for romance. I’ll have to check it out.

I agree with the review, friendship can sometimes be unplanned, and one finds it in hopeless places. The Azalea has been protected since her childhood by her parents in order not to meet witches only to meet a werewolf. Congrats on BOTD.

I am not a great fan of witch, werewolf, or vampire stories in general, but I do like that it is somehow set in the modern, "real" world. At first, the sample is ok and does not drag me in straight away, but the part about magic impacting humans and animals in a specific way is intriguing and I could definitely read a development on that idea. As for the romance piece with the mysterious guy that gets ice, it is a little bit cliché for me: broody type, hot and fit, with huge arms etc.
I might give it a try.
