Marc Marci is a touching story that delicately navigates themes of identity, friendship, and acceptance. Goldsmith's portrayal of transgender and lesbian experiences as normal and real is commendable. The vivid imagery and strong character relationships make the story engaging. Overall, a well-crafted coming-of-age narrative.

It's a good book to read from the review. Would be challenging to stick to one's belief in our society today.

I applaud Larry G. Goldsmith for writing this LGBTQ+ book. The hateful, close-minded people in our society need to be educated about people that are different from they are. Widen your view, open your mind, get educated, and let people be who they are and love who they love without criticism or judgement. Thank you for the informative review.

Dealing with a highly personal and sensitive issue of sexuality is handled in an appropriate way in the book and in this excellent review. I am looking forward to the self-discovery Marc goes through as he picks up the pieces of life left after the sudden loss of his parents.

Your review makes me want to read this one. I have a friend who is Lesbian and I know she struggles with not telling most of her straight friends. Marc becoming Marci is what makes me want to read the book. I only know one transgender individual who was a girl and realized she was a boy. But this makes the topic more interesting. The description of the inn and innkeeper are part of what I read and you describe it so well. I don't have a problem with the topic and I don't have a problem with sex in a book. The loss of his parents so early in the story was sad and the description of his struggle with this was heartbreaking. Your review summarizes the story well without spoilers, which I appreciate! Great review! Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

I think this is an interesting plot. However, I'd rather skip the read due to the sexual content and issues discussed in it.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting and different romance story about how Marc, after suffering from a series of tragedies, travels to England where he realizes that he wants to be a woman permanently and chooses to become Marci. When she returns home to the US, while she find her love, marry and then have the children she wants? While it might not be for everyone, it might be worth a second look. Well done.

I am feeling for people in this situation and the negative impact on them in the society. However from the beginning of creation God did not make mistake making humans so why would one born a male and later finds out to be other way round. This story has a lot to tell us. Great review.

An intriguing coming-of-age story with exciting themes that many teenagers would have some lessons to learn from. Marci really needed that support from her uncle and her friends, which helped her accept who she really was. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

The author's skill in writing allows the reader to comprehend what Marc was thinking before making his huge decision. It's not my style of story, but the novel brings transgender issues closer to home.

"Marc Marci" by Larry G. Goldsmith is an emotionally powerful story that explores themes of identity, gender, and self-discovery. It's a story of loss, resilience, and the search for belonging. Marci's journey is at times heartbreaking and joyful, but ultimately inspiring. The relationships she forges along the way are rich and complex, and the struggles she faces are authentic and relatable. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in stories of personal growth and transformation.

I can imagine the emotional turmoil. What about the criticism? Friends suddenly become strangers; relatives grow apart, and resentment from those around you grows. I'm enticed by Marci's transitioning journey.
