I'm intrigued by the way Hard Kill combines fast-paced action with character development, especially Brock Henry's transformation. Also, the immersive world-building promises an exciting read.

Everyone loves a good boy gone bad story with lots of action and it sounds like that's exactly what the reader will get from Lt. Brock Henry in Eris. I'm curious to know how the author described this futuristic "transhuman".

The book has an interesting plot, and as mentioned in the review, it has the right amount of suspense. It mixes sci-fi, action and suspense. I am adding it to my shelves.

Bill Eckel seems to be a talented creative fast paced sci-fi writer. The protagonist the young human peacekeeper Lt. Brock Henry turns from being simple, following the law without question, to a revolutionary in the power struggle of the royals from another planet. I like the story line. Your review is well written without spoilers.
Congratulations Bill Eckel on the BOTD!

Brock Henry's character development was indeed a highlight of the story. It's fascinating to witness his transformation from an idealist to a revolutionary, and it adds depth to the narrative. I also found Leal's character relatable, trying to balance personal safety with larger responsibilities. Thanks for the great review.

Very interesting book. Full of action and suspense. Has you interested from the beginning, lots of names popping up that made me a bit confused in the beginning but a very good read, keeps you on the edge of your seat.
