I think the new book comes out in March. I need to finish Blay and Quinn's story before I get it.

I enjoyed the series at first, but the last few books dropped out the romance and the plot and focused on sex.

I would have to say my favorite book is still the first one and my favorite characters are V and Z.

John Matthews is my favorite character. I wish JR Ward would have talked more about him being Darius. Maybe it will come out in other books.

Zsadist is definitely a winning installment of this series, and by far my personal favorite, but they're all fantastic. Have to admit that I was hooked after the first installment and even though my interest started to wane a bit in the last two installments, the next book comes out soon and is already on my buying list. This is one of those series that it catchy, jam packed with the paranormal, and highly addictive. If you haven't indulged, read the first book and see if you can resist the urge to move forward!

I love The Black Dagger Brotherhood even though I have only read the first 8 I'm hooked I just haven't continued with the rest. I love them all but my favorite has to be Zsadist. I hope to finish the rest soon.

I friggin loved the BDB series. My favorite books were the first, with Wrath, Butch's story and Revenge's stories. And although they are spread out through the books, my favorite relationship is the one between Butch and V. The other stories were good but these in particular I have reread over and over again. I cannot wait for the next installment which goes back to Liz and Wrath! Beth finally goes into her needing and I am so excited for this book I can barely sit still. Ward has a unique and engaging writing style. Her books will have you falling in love with her characters over and over again.

Love this series! I don't really have a favorite character. I love the way everyone plays a role in the book (Phury was probably my least favorite, but that doesn't say much...) Can't wait for "The King"!

I only got as far as book 3. I loved that the stories had a depth between all the characters, not just the main characters. Not sure why I stopped reading the series. After reading the these reviews I'll have to go back and finish the series.

I began reading the BDB books after seeing the posts here. Loved the series and now I am anxiously awaiting the release of The King. So ... thanks for turning me on to them.

Very good series. I have read the first 3 or 4 books and I would say that Z is probably my favorite character. =)

I agree about Phury. His story just seemed a little lacking somewhere. I still do not regret having the series though and would cut off the hand of anyone that tried to steal them. Those are the one set that does not get loaned out.

I loved this series but have to agree the last few books were mainly focused on the sex part even if we all enjoy a good raunchy scene i think ward may of gone a little over the top. Still absolutely love these books tho and cant wait for the newest one to come out.

I love BDB! I started reading them when there were already six books out. I jetted through those six, and now I have to play the waiting game every year for the new book. Vishous is my favorite character, but I find it really interesting that Zadist is favored by so many. He's the darkest character in the series. I want Trez, Iam, and Assail to get books. Oh, and don't forget Xcor. JR Ward has said she fashioned Xcor to be a Channing Tatum look-a-like and now I find myself liking him more! Haha.
